God Owns Everything:
We may think we own our house, our car, our clothing and our bank account, but everything we have was given to us by God's grace.
Mat. 5:45b - He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.
God created everything...
Genesis 1:1 – In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
Col. 1:16 - For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him.
He also sustains everything...
Col 1:17 - He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.
God holds us in his hand. If He decided to "let go" for a milisecond we would not be able to take another breath.
Since God created everything and holds it all together then it stands to reason that He "owns" it all!
Psalm 24:1 - The earth is the Lord's, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it.
Psalm 50:10 - for every animal of the forest is mine, and the cattle on a thousand hills.
